After I Joined Local.com I asked my former colleague Frank to join me. Here is picture of me (left) and Frank (right)
playing blackjack in Local.com’s Christmas party. Frank is the nicest guy I worked with. We worked together for Pincity.com for five years. You probably used Pincity’s online phone card. In fact I bump into a lot of people using its service. Believe it or not I was the first employee of Pincity.com starting out in the owner’s home. At one point the company raised some fund from VC, I believe it is from TAMC fund, and our staff grew to around 50. The telecom market so competitive and Pincity.com was never able to grow big as we would hope. In fact one of the biggest player bigzoo.com went out of business. The bigzoo.com domain is sold and no logger does telecom business. When bigzoo.com is around it was doing about 20 million businesses a year. Now it seems that onesuite.com is the winner.
